Request Partial Textbook

Use this form to request partial content from an existing APH braille textbook (embossed braille with tactile graphics) that is available in the Louis database.

Before submitting your request, please search the Louis database using the exact ISBN and confirm that the braille title is available from APH. Eligible existing titles can be identified by an A-B catalog number (for example, A-B2200-00). Once you have confirmed the title, you may proceed with the Partial Braille Textbook Request Form.

Requesting a New Braille Title

If the textbook has not yet been transcribed into braille by APH, please do not use this form. Requests for partial content from a new braille title follow a different process and should be submitted through the APH Braille Textbook Order Form.

Partial Request Guidelines

The minimum partial request is generally one textbook chapter. APH will review the requested content and quantity to determine whether the request can be produced. Completed partial textbook requests are provided in 3-ring binders.

What Happens After You Submit?

After receiving your request, the APH team will review the available braille files and determine which braille volumes and tactile graphics are needed to fulfill your request.

Following this review, APH will contact you to confirm whether the request has been accepted and provide the final estimated price.
